WHAT YOU’LL DO

WEBB is a creative event production agency handling large-scale live and virtual events for 100 to 100,000 attendees throughout the United States and occasionally outside the US. Together with our clients, we conceptualize, design, produce, build, staff, operate, and manage all aspects of an event. WEBB is a leader in the field of corporate event production and audio visual integrated systems. A lot goes on behind the scenes of an event whether on stage, support office, or warehouse. Our audio team plays a crucial role in the operation of our well-oiled machine in producing and executing amazing events and experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who you are
  • Live event audio experience with a minimum of five years overseeing all audio elements for the events.
  • Familiarity with speaker system design, safe deployment, management software.
  • Strong IT networking skill, and Dante certification.
  • Firm knowledge of professional intercom management and deployment (e.g. Clear-com, FreeSpeak, Unity, etc.)
  • Understanding of RF and RF coordination.
  • On-site crew management experience, leading teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to interact well with clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to various responsibilities.
  • A flexible schedule, including availability for travel and extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Key responsibilities
  • Take ownership of event success, collaborating with the Producer and Technical Director to define project scope.
  • Contribute to event design, focusing on enhancing the experience and execution.
  • Coordinate with the Department Manager to input and verify equipment in inventory management software.
  • Identify and communicate any inventory discrepancies or rental needs.
  • Develop and distribute show documentation (system design, input lists, etc.).
  • Ensure all department-related equipment is quality-checked, pulled, and loaded in coordination with the Audio Aisle Lead.

On-Site
  • Serve as an audio expert and key resource for your department.
  • Fill your assigned show role (e.g. A1, A2, Monitors, etc.).
  • Conduct a quick pre-load-in meeting with your team.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments, as needed, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead, supervise, and assist the department crew during setup, operation, and strike.
  • Support other departments during strike and truck loading.

Post-Event
  • Oversee and assist in the unloading of trucks and verify all equipment is returned.
  • Assist with post-event quality control.
  • Participate in post-event reviews to evaluate successes and identify areas for improvement.

Ongoing Responsibilities
  • Work with the Department Manager to refine processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with gear maintenance and inventory management.
  • Seek and participate in training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed.
